Gilroy Moves to

Thomas Nelson

The last two years have been interesting for Mark Gilroy and family to say the least.  After moving from Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Brentwood, Tennessee, and putting his company, Mark Gilroy Communications, Inc., on "autopilot" (no new independent projects and no new clients) to start the new Integrity House imprint, he awoke on day to discover that the entire Integrity book publishing division was being acquired by Thomas Nelson.  After a few weeks of wondering where he would fit within the transition, the good news came in that Mark had been named vice president and publisher for the Thomas Nelson gift division.  To find out more about Nelson and for an archive of past new stories, click   here.

A Christian Man's

Guide to Sex

According to Pasadena, California, psychologists Steve Simpson, Richard Rupp, and Ryan Howes, the Bible has a lot to say about sex, but most men are only familiar with the prohibitions. This leaves them feeling that sex is “permissible” rather than important. However, much of the Bible emphasizes the importance of a healthy sex life. The Song of Songs, in particular, reveals that passionate love making is an integral part of marriage. Both the Church and the secular world have perpetuated myths about male sexuality that need to be dispelled and replaced with Biblical truth if a man is to become a great lover.

Their book project, Becoming the World's Greatest Lover:  A Christian Man's Guide to Sex, caught the attention of senior editor, Robert Hosack, of Baker Books in Grand Rapids, Michigan, one of the largest and most respected Christian publishers in the world.  Mark Gilroy, the agent for the project, is pleased to announce that the deal points have been approved by all parties and a contract will be signed in early December, 2005.
